Picture
"Distant Bridge", 8" x 11" transparent watercolor on Arches 140 lb cp. This was the view from the window of our hotel room on Chincoteague Bay about a week ago. The sunset across the Bay made the entire scene briefly orange and violet.
Watercolors are often quick affairs, sometimes less than an hour from start to finish. This is one of those, a quick note that records a memory.

Visit www.kurtplinke.com to see more of my paintings, read my blog, find out about upcoming workshops, classes and shows, and, of course, to pick out an purchase your favorite paintings.
