These workshops fill fast, so sign up early to reserve a chair. Pumpkin in the Snow
Saturday, October 19th, 11:00 am - 4:30 pm. With Fall in full swing, and Halloween coming, a painting of a pumpkin is always right. This particular pumpkin lay under the snow last winter, and I photographed it as the pumpkin began to poke out of the melting snow in mid-winter. We'll look at using photographs as reference material as well as shadows on snow. paper provided.
Saturday, November 16th, 11:00 am - 4:30 pm. A merganser will dominate this painting, as we look at how to paint this interesting duck and his reflection. Simple use of washes and layering color will make this a fun painting for beginners or more experienced watercolorists. paper provided.
